Georg Leutert (57) is the director for automotive and aerospace industries of IndustriALL Global Union, the global trade union federation for mining, energy and manufacturing, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. A German national, Leutert joined the team in 2017 and before that, he worked for Ford Motor Company for nearly twenty years, based in Ford’s European headquarters where he served as a coordinator of the European Works Council and the company’s global platform for social dialog. He is a member of the German metalworkers’ trade union, IG Metall, and the Swiss trade union UNIA. Leutert holds a master degree in Regional Sciences Latin America from the University of Cologne (Germany).
